| Steak & Fun. We have planned an Outing for the Emerson &
I-465/Beech Grove area on Saturday, October 11th that will
include dinner at Ponderosa Steak House at 3pm, 5005 S. Emerson
in Indy (317-783-9901). 6pm we’ll meet nearby at Greatimes
Family Fun Park for $4.95 miniature golf. They also have bumper
boats & go karts. It’s located at 5341 Elmwood Av.,
317-780-0300. This will be the first chance to take nominations
for the club officers for 2009. The last chance for nominations
will come at the Halloween Party with elections being held
November 15th. |

| On Saturday, October 11th we will be trying to get a group
together at around 2pm near the Canal to cheer on Rufus W. and
the rest of the participants in the annual AIDS Walk. More on
this will be posted later. See Rufus or someone else involved
with the event to donate. |

| Saturday, October 25th Michael H. & Bill B. will host
our annual Halloween Party again at their house, 10497 Ballard
Dr. (same place it has been the previous 2 years), Brownsburg,
46112 (317-413-8630). The Midwest BearPack will be joining us so
it should be one HUGE party! We’ll have a 50/50 Raffle plus the
Costume Contest. The time will be 7pm until? It will be a
pitch-in dinner so the following guidelines apply if you’re
able: first of all bring whatever pop, beer or wine coolers you
wish to consume yourself AND if your birthday falls in
January-April bring a DESSERT dish, May-August bring a MAIN dish
and September-December bring a SIDE dish. This will be the last
chance to take nominations for the club officers for 2009. The
elections will be held November 15th. |
