May 8th, 2007

Daniel Lee “Dan” Johnson, our beloved Vice President from
Indianapolis passed away suddenly May 8th. He was only 44. He passed
while taking our Secretary to the hospital for a routine
appointment. Dan was like that. He was always willing to lend a
hand, offer advice or support. We will greatly miss him.
Dan was born in Monticello, IN on Tuesday, February 12th to Norma
Johnson. He was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School in
Monticello. Daniel lived the last 20 years in Indy after moving from
Buffalo, IN. Survivors include his mother, Norma (husband Jed)
Bailey of Buffalo; sons Benjamin, Blake and Bryce Johnson, all of
Indianapolis.
The funeral was May 11 at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home in
Monticello. Dan was laid to rest in the Bedford Cemetery of rural
Monon, IN. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family and all of
Daniel’s friends.
A brief memorial service was held at the club Housewarming at Frank
& Mitch’s new home, Saturday, May 19th. This was also a birthday
party of Mitch. Dan had requested no funeral or memorial service,
but we could not let such a man go with saying our goodbyes
Although we have had to say good bye to these members who have passed on, they each had an impact on each of our lives.
They may not be with us now, but the will always be with us in our hearts and memories.
